Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1982---84 ELECTRA & LESABRE; 1985 LESABRE & ALL ESTATE WAGONS
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove left lower instrument panel trim and A/C ducts as required.
3. Pull headlamp switch to full on position.
4. Depress retainer through slot in rear of knob and pull knob from stem.
5. Remove switch stem escutcheon and instrument cluster bezel.
6. Remove nut securing switch, lower switch from rear of instrument panel, then disconnect electrical connector from switch.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
