Install right output shaft
NOTE:
The illustration shows the procedure on the front differential. The procedure on the bearing bracket is identical.
- Fold open the assembly protection ring (1)
.
- Guide in the output shaft (1) in the arrow direction into the bearing bracket but do not let it engage.
- Pull the lug of the installation protection ring (2) until one of the two predetermined breaking points yields.
- Pull out the installation protection ring (2) and dispose of it.
- Insert output shaft (1)
up to the stop in the bearing bracket.
You must be able to feel and hear the output shaft (1) engage.
