Checking the expanding foam tapes for damage

Check 

• Check expanding foam tape (1)  and (2)  for damage.

Result 

» The expanding foam tapes are damaged.

Measure

• Replace expanding foam tapes (1)  and (2)  .

• Observe marks (A)  and (B)  for the expanding foam tape on the windshield.
• Remove adhesive residue.
• Clean adhesive areas (A)  and (B)  .

• Glue the expanding foam tape on the windshield as shown.
