Installing the outer B-pillar trim panel
- Insert the B-pillar trim panel (1) upwards into the holder (2) .

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Tighten down screws (1) .
TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

- Fold down the rubber seal (1)
and guide it into the trim.
- Measure the protrusion of the side window glass in the lower area (A)
of the B-pillar trim panel (1)

The nominal dimension of the protrusion of the side windows to the B-pillar trim panel is as follows: 1.2 mm ± 0.5 mm
- Adjust the target dimension if necessary.

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Loosen screws (1) and remove.
- Adjust B-pillar trim panel (1)
by twisting the hexagon on adjusting elements (2)
.
Nominal dimension of the protrusion of the side windows to the B-pillar trim panel:
1.2 mm ± 0.5 mm

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position and tighten screws (1) . While doing this, make sure that the hexagon of the adjusting elements does not twist.

- Once again check the protrusion of the side windows to the B-pillar-trim panel and where appropriate repeat the adjustment.
