After every disassembly and prior to every installation: Always clean connections and covers of lines transporting AdBlue thoroughly with water.
Close connections and AdBlue carrying lines.

Preliminary work
- Refer to SUCTION THE FUEL TANK .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to Removing rear wheel arch cover
- Refer to REMOVING THE TANK COVER .
- Refer to REMOVE FUEL FILLER PIPE .
- Refer to REMOVE THE FUEL FILLER FLAP .
- Release the sealing lip (1) from the wheel well.
- Pierce the cover housing (1) in the highlighted areas (2) using a small screwdriver.
- Hold cover bowl under tension.
- Insert the screwdriver no more than 10 mm deep.
- Unlock the detents (6)
in a sequence from (1)
to (4)
using a screwdriver (5)
.
- Turn and remove the cover housing from the side panel.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Close fuel filler flap.
- Remove the cover housing.
