Removing The Rear Left Side Panel

Mark the separating cut (1) at the C-pillar according to the dimensions and cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension a = 262 mm from the corner of the roof outer skin
Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.

Determination of separating cut using a template
Determine position of the separating cut in addition to the dimensions with the aid of a template (1) .

Dimension a = 60 mm
Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.

Mark the separating cut on the door sill according to dimensions and cut. Disconnect only the outer panel.
Dimension = 100 mm from the center point of the hole with Ø 20 mm.
Compare position of severance cut with reinforcement plate.

Loosen welded connections in areas (1) .

Releasing bonded connections
Open spot-welded adhesive joints in areas (2) .
