Installing The Tailgate
NOTE:

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position the new trunk lid on the tailgate hinges.
- Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Tailgate hinge on trunk lid Hexagon screw, M8x18 Tightening torque 19 Nm - Carefully close the tailgate and check for bodywork contact. If necessary, reposition the tailgate.
- Clip in the wiring harnesses (2) into the attachment points (arrows).
- Connect all connectors of the wiring harnesses (2) to the tailgate and lock them.
- Connect the associated plug connection of the buzzer (1)
and install the buzzer.
