Installing the convertible top compartment lid mechanism

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
- Position the convertible top compartment lid mechanism (1) on the previously made mark.
- Tighten down screws (2).
- Feed in the cable linkage for the emergency unlocking (1) in the cargo area.
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Check that the retaining clips (1) on the hydraulic cylinder (2) are fitted correctly.
- Clip on the hydraulic cylinder (2) on the associated ball hub.
