Remove the upper seat belt (REMA)

WARNING: Airbag unit.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

Loosen screws (1).
Remove the slide bar (2).
Loosen screw (3).

SA5AL Active Protection:
REMA = Reversible electromotive reel.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Remove the wiring harness with the holder (2).
Release screws (3) and (4).
Remove the seat belt retractor (5).
