- Before performing any work on the airbag, always disconnect the battery ground lead from the battery.
- Airbag unit may only be set down with the cushion (airbag itself) facing upwards.

NOTE:
The operations shown only for one side must be carried out on both sides.
- Loosen screws (1) .
- Carefully feed out and remove the seat pan (2) from the seat mechanism (3) .
- Unlock and disconnect all associated plug connections.
