Removing the pressure line between the evaporator and the air conditioning condenser

- Make sure that there is no charger connected to the jump start terminal in the engine compartment.
- Detach battery ground lead from battery.
- For auxiliary batteries: Detach battery minus cables from all auxiliary batteries.

Refrigerant circuit under high pressure.

Damage to battery terminal, the safety battery terminal or the intelligent battery sensor (IBS).

- Detach battery terminal from battery pole by carefully shifting to and fro. Do not pry off using a tool.

- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when disconnecting the refrigerant line.
- Close the refrigerant lines with seal plugs.
NOTE:
Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.
- Open the holder (1).
- Loosen nut (1).
- Engage the hose support (2) on the pressure line (3).
- Remove the pressure line (3) from the expansion valve and set it aside.
- Loosen screw (1).
- Feed out and remove the refrigerant line (2) from the air conditioning condenser (3).
