Install charge air temperature sensor

Contaminant or foreign body .
Contamination can result in malfunctions, loss of function or leaks .

Adhere to the utmost cleanliness.
Protect components from contamination e.g. by covering.
Close off line connections with seal plugs.

Check the sealing rings (1) on the charge-air temperature sensor for damage, replace if applicable.

Insert and install the charge-air temperature sensor (1) .
Tighten the charge-air temperature sensor (1) using the special tool 0 496 142 (11 8 850) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Charge air temperature sensor on charge air line
Sensor	Tightening torque	1.8 Nm
