Removing the wiring harness section for the ignition and injectors

Wiring harness for the injectors and ignition coils

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
If control units are disconnected, fault memory entries and functional limitations may occur.
The fault memory entries must be read out and, if necessary, deleted.

- Feed out the plug connection (1) from the holder (2) in arrow direction and set it aside.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock the lock (1).
- Remove the wiring harness section (2) and put to one side.
- Unlock the locks (arrows).
- Remove the wiring harness section (1) and put to one side.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Detach holder (1) from the ball pivot (2).
- Lay holder (1) to one side.
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Release nuts (1).
- Feed out cable duct (2) and set aside.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connections (3) of the injectors.
- Unlock the locks (1).
- Feed out wiring harness section (1) and set aside.
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Guide out and remove the wiring harness (1) for the injectors and ignition coils.
