Removing the drive for the outer backrest width adjustment

Precondition
- Fully adjust the front seat and front seat backrest to the front.
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING OUTER COVER ON FRONT SEAT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TOP REAR PANEL FROM THE FRONT SEAT REAR PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR PANEL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT SEAT REAR PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING SIDE AIRBAG FROM FRONT SEAT .
- Slightly fold backrest cover (1) to one side.
- Cover the working area to prevent shavings from penetrating the backrest.
- Drill out the blind rivet (2).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Carefully remove the drive unit (2).
- Remove any riveting residue.
