When replacing the backrest upper section adjustment gear: Remount transmission for backrest upper section adjustment

Unclip the cover (1) towards the inside.
Pull shaft (2) from transmission in arrow direction.
Release the nut (3) and remove washer.

Pull out clamp (1).
Remove the transmission for the backrest upper section adjustment (2).

Turn spindle (3) until dimension (A) of the new drive for backrest upper section adjustment (1) has been adjusted on the transmission for backrest upper section adjustment (2).

Insert the transmission for the backrest upper section adjustment (1).
Secure the bolt (2) with the clamp (3).

Insert nut (3) with the washer and tighten.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Drive/transmission for backrest upper section adjustment to backrest frame
Nut M5	Tightening torque	5.5 Nm

Insert the shaft (2) in arrow direction into the transmission for backrest upper section adjustment.
Clip in the cover (1).
