Remove bearing bracket for pedal mechanism

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .
- Refer to REMOVING THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH .
- Retract release tool 2 409 646 between brake pedal and brake booster.
- Apply support (1) of the release tool 2 409 646 on the bearing bracket. If necessary, position the support by rotating the screw on the release tool.
- Push release tool 2 409 646 in the direction of the arrow and lever out the brake pedal from brake booster.
NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Disconnect plug connection (1).

- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Release screw (1) and remove bearing bracket (2).
