Installing wheel electronics

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
It is absolutely necessary to replace the tire valve to prevent leaks.
Before installing the tire valve: Clean the bore in the wheel rim thoroughly and deburr where required.

Before installing the tire valve: Clean the bore in the wheel rim thoroughly and deburr where required.
- Insert the valve insert (1) into the wheel electronics in the arrow direction.
- Fit the sealing ring (1) in the arrow direction.
- Ensure correct installation position.
The mark (1) on the sealing ring must point upwards.
- Insert the valve insert with the wheel electronics (1) into the cleaned bore in the rim.
The wheel electronics must rest on the rim.
- Replace the union nut (1).
Parts: Coupling nut
- Screw on the union nut (1) manually until it abuts.
- Press the wheel electronics evenly into the rim base.
- Tighten union nut (1).TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Tire valve to wheel rim Replace union nut.
Tighten screw connection in one go.
Do not retighten the screw connection.Tightening torque 8 Nm - Make sure that the wheel electronics rests evenly on the rim even after tightening.
