Installing the radial shaft seal for the output flange (ATC 13-1)

Damage to the transmission .
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil .

- Use only the approved transmission oil.
- Check the transmission oil level after completing the repair.
- Replace the O-ring (1) in output flange.
Parts: O-ring
- Check the correct position of the O-ring (1) .
- Oil the sealing lip of the new radial shaft sealing ring with transmission oil.
- Drive in the radial shaft seal with special tools 2 409 305 and 2 413 037 .
- Push on output flange
- Carefully drive the output flange onto the output shaft using the rubber mallet.
- Press the output flange down with 2 screwdrivers or press the main shaft to the rear.
- Mount shim.
- Press the output flange further down until the retaining groove is completely visible.
- Fit circlip (1) .
