Remove the module bracket from the front door

NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE MIRROR TRIANGLE COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE EXTERIOR MIRROR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP ON THE FRONT DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE DOOR HANDLE .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Secure the side window glass to the door frame when it is closed using adhesive tape.
- Spread both holders simultaneously (1) on the side window glass using special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) until it is possible to detach the side window glass.
- Shift power windows down by approximately 10 cm.
Disconnecting all battery ground leads

- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Release all the cable clips of the wiring harness (2).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Release the snap fasteners (1) and feed out the module bracket (2).NOTE: The module carrier (2) cannot be removed if the power windows are moved completely down.
