Installing oil filler neck

Replace the sealing ring (2) on the oil filler neck (1).
Parts: Sealing ring
Coat the sealing ring (2) with the recommended engine oil.

Technically suitable engine oils for BMW Group engines

Position oil filler neck (1).
Turn oil filler neck (1) about 15° counterclockwise.

Tighten screw (2) on the oil filler neck (3).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Oil filler neck
M6x30	tightening torque	10 Nm

Tighten screw (1) on the oil filler neck (3).
