Installing the rear emblem

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Remove adhesive residue on the tailgate and clean the adhesive area.

Replace the emblem.
Parts: Emblem

Check
Check the guide pins (1) and the nozzles (2) for damage.

Result

» The guide pins (1) are damaged.

Measure
- Replace the rear emblem.
Parts: Emblem at the rear

Result

» The nozzles (2) are damaged.

Measure
- Replace the nozzles (2).
Parts: Grommets
Coat the guide pins (3) of the emblem (1) with lubricant.
INSTALLATION AID SPECIFICATION

Lubricants G14 900 ml, Can 83232360412
Detach the liner from the bonding surface (2) of the emblem (1).
Insert the emblem (1) with the guide pins (3) in the nozzles and press it all around.
