Installing the trim strip at the rear window

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Mechanical effects.
Paint damage.

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Check

Check lugs (1) on trim strip (2) for damage.

Result

» The lugs (1) are damaged.

Measure
- Replace the trim strip (2).
Align trim strip (1) to the body and clip it into side window.
