Remove central bass

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
Refer to REMOVING FRONT SEAT .

Loosen screws (1).
Remove speaker trim (2).
Detach the air duct (3) towards the rear and remove.
Raise the carpet (4) slightly.

Fold up the carpet (1) as shown
Loosen screws (2).
Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
Remove the central bass (4).
