22 11 011 Replacing left engine mount (M54 / M56)

Remove cover from cable duct and microfilter. See 11 61 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INTAKE AIR MANIFOLD (M54)

Remove lower section of microfilter housing. See 11 62 140 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BOTH EXHAUST MANIFOLDS WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS (M52TU / M54 / M56)

Remove plug and intake hose from air-mass flow sensor. See 13 62 560 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AIR-MASS FLOW SENSOR (M54)

Release left engine mount from above from engine support arm.

Raise engine with special tool, described in Removing oil sump. See 11 13 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEALING OR REPLACING OIL SUMP (M52TU / M54 / M56)

Remove front splash guard. See 51 71 374 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REINFORCEMENT PLATE ON FRONT AXLE SUPPORT

Release engine mount from front axle support and remove.
