For gluing work, only use BMW-approved 1 -component polyurethane adhesives.

The adhesive is applied to the rear spoiler with a cartridge pistol (operated by compressed air or electric power, sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).

NOTE: When using Sika Tack - Ultrafast (hot processing):
  • If necessary, open aluminum membrane at rear end of cartridge
  • Heat up adhesive for one hour in cartridge oven (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service) to 80°C
  • Remove hardened adhesive compound before further application

Sealed adhesive:
  • can be heated up several times,
  • may however only be stored for max. 10 hours when heated to 80°C,
  • will be damaged if this period of time is exceeded,
  • cannot be used if damaged
  • must be disposed of in accordance with the relevant regulations.
