51 71... Rear spoiler gluing instructions: Adhesive:

For gluing work, only use BMW-approved 1 -component polyurethane adhesives.
- Original BMW for cold application, Sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service
- Sika Tack - Ultrafast, Sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service for hot application
- Sikaflex 255 FC for cold application
The adhesive is applied to the rear spoiler with a cartridge pistol (operated by compressed air or electric power, sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
NOTE:
When using Sika Tack - Ultrafast (hot processing):
Sealed adhesive:
- If necessary, open aluminum membrane at rear end of cartridge
- Heat up adhesive for one hour in cartridge oven (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service) to 80°C
- Remove hardened adhesive compound before further application
Sealed adhesive:
- can be heated up several times,
- may however only be stored for max. 10 hours when heated to 80°C,
- will be damaged if this period of time is exceeded,
- cannot be used if damaged
- must be disposed of in accordance with the relevant regulations.
