Contact Ring: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. If installing original contact ring, center contact ring before installation. See CONTACT RING under ADJUSTMENTS. If installing NEW contact ring, NEW contact ring is held in center position with shipping lock pin. DO NOT remove lock pin until contact ring is attached to steering wheel.
- Install contact ring and reinstall nuts holding ring to wheel hub. Pinch ends of locking pin with a pliers and remove. Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
