Removal & Installation: Starter: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Check starter motor pinion and ring gear for damage. If starter motor pinion or ring gear are damaged, replace as necessary. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Replace and tighten screws of reinforcement plate to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Then tighten down with Torque Angle Measuring Dial (00 9 120).
