Replacing the emergency battery for the telematics control module

Precondition
- Convertible top is open.
Convertible top compartment lid is in the open position.
Wind deflector is removed.
Rear seat backrest is folded.
Preliminary work
- Refer to CARRYING OUT A SYSTEM CHECK OF THE TELEMATICS CONTROL MODULE EMERGENCY BATTERY .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVE REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to REMOVING THE HEAD RESTRAINT ON REAR LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR LEFT AND RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT GUIDES .
- Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL AT THE TOP OF THE ROLLOVER PROTECTION SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE THROUGH-LOADING SYSTEM TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock and open battery compartment (1) on telematic control unit (2).
- Feed the emergency battery (1) out of the battery compartment and replace it.
Parts: Emergency battery
- Shut battery compartment (1) on telematics control unit (2) and lock.
