Removing rain-light-solar-condensation sensor

- Press in the retaining springs (1)
on both sides in the arrow direction and unlock the lock by means of a screwdriver (2)
in the arrow direction.NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to silicone surface.
A damaged silicone surface can lead to malfunctioning of the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.- Do not tap or damage the silicone-coated surface on the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor.
- After loosening lock, wait approx. 30 min. at 20°C for silicone surface to relax.
- Pull the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor (3)
slowly off the windshield. In the process, pay attention from outside to the loosening of the silicone surface.
The silicone surface must evenly loosen from the windshield; if necessary, pull off slower.
- Guide out rain-light-solar-condensation sensor (3)
from the holder.
When replacing the windshield, the rain-light-solar-condensation sensor must be installed on the new windshield.
