Partially releasing the rear left and right side trim panel

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Partially removing the rear side trim panel

Release the side trim panel with a suitable special tool from the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329) at the clamps (1) and the clips (2) .
Guide out the side trim panel from the lip of edge protection and release it from clamps (3) .
