Adjust the striker on the hood

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions between the hood and the adjoining components.

  Measure

  • Adjust the striker.
• Adjust striker (2) by turning nut (1).

  Adjusting hood stop pads 

  NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.
• Screw in stop pads (1) fully until the pin (2) can be pulled out.

  Pull pin (2) out approx. 5 mm.

• Slowly close the hood. The pin (2) will be pressed into stop pad (1) while doing so.
• Raise hood.
• Unscrew stop pad (1) until stop pad is flush with upper edge of pin (2).
