Securing the tension strut on the left and right to the front subframe

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Deflection of the ball joint of the tension strut by more than 25°.
Damage to the bellows and premature wear in the ball joint.

- The tension strut may be angled at a maximum of 25° when installing and removing it!
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Replace the cage nut (1)

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Tighten the screw connection in the NORMAL POSITION .
Tighten the screw connection in the NORMAL POSITION .
- Position the tension strut (1) on the front subframe.
- Replace the screw (2)
.
Parts: Screw
- Feed in screw (2)
and tighten hand-tight.
The screw connection is tightened later in NORMAL POSITION .
