Removing transmission cross-member

Release the locks (1).
Remove the lid (2).

Loosen screws (1).
Suspend the cover (2) on one side.

Support the transmission using special tools 0 495 498 (23 4 050) and 2 219 012 .
Secure the transmission with the luggage strap (1).

Loosen screw (2).
Remove the transmission cross member (3) and lower the transmission a little.

Release the screw (1) of the cover (2) .
