Removing the engine from the assembly jig

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Prepare the special tool 2 220 718
.
- Keep the special tool 0 490 561 (11 0 000) ready.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The workshop crane, lifting gear and the mounting brackets on the engine must all be connected to each other so that the engine hangs straight upon lifting.

- Connect both hooks of special tool 0 490 561 (11 0 000) front with special tool 2 459 012 and rear on the engine with the mounting brackets.
- Connect the special tool 2 220 718
to special tool 0 490 561 (11 0 000).
- Slacken nuts (1) .
- Unlock the clamping jaws of the special tool 2 413 082 in arrow direction.
- Raise the engine slowly.
- Unscrew the screws (marks) and remove the special tool 2 411 718
.
- Insert and install the engine support bracket (1) at the right.
- Tighten screws (arrows).
