Remove rear brake pads

NOTE:
Only perform the operation on the right side.
- Unlock and open the lid (1) .
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (2) for the brake pad wear sensor.
- Release the cable from (3)
holder.NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side.
- Release the cable (1)
for the brake pad wear sensor from the holders (2)
.
- Release screws (1) . Counter support at the hexagon head (2) while doing so.
- Remove brake caliper (3)

Do not hang the brake caliper (3) from the brake hose.
NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side. - Feed the cable (1)
for the brake pad wear sensor in arrow direction through the brake caliper (2)

- Tie up the brake caliper (1) with the special tool 2 413 317
.
- Variant with design clip:
- Lift the retaining tab (1)
with a screwdriver (2)
and remove the design clip in the arrow direction.
- Remove the brake pads (1) in the arrow direction from the brake anchor plate.
- Mark any worn brake pads.
The brake pads must not be interchanged in case of a one-sided brake lining backplate wear.
