Releasing the refrigerant lines at the air conditioning compressor

Precondition

All the negative battery cables are disconnected.

Release nut (1) .
Pull the positive battery cable (2) out and set it aside.
Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.

CAUTION:
Residual pressure in the heating and air conditioning system.
Injury hazard!
- Wear safety goggles and protective gloves when disconnecting the refrigerant line.
- Close the refrigerant lines with seal plugs.

Loosen screws (1) .
Feed out the refrigerant lines (2) and set them aside.

Close the refrigerant lines (1) with commercially available seal plugs.

Close the bores (1) and (2) with commercially available seal plugs.
