Releasing the output shaft on rear axle differential

Release nut (1) .
Release the holder (2) from the rear axle support.

Prepare the special tools 0 495 853 (33 5 121), 0 495 854 (33 5 122) and 0 496 765 (33 5 126) .

Insert the special tool 0 495 853 (33 5 121) and position it with the special tool 0 496 765 (33 5 126) on the circumferential slot (1) of the output shaft.

Failure to comply with the specification.
Component damage.
- All specifications must be observed and complied with.
Screw in the special tool 0 495 855 (33 5 123) in the special tool 0 495 853 (33 5 121) .
Support the special tool 0 495 853 (33 5 121) without fail in the area (1) on the rear axle differential.

Press out the output shaft with the special tool 0 495 855 (33 5 123) with a jerky movement from the rear axle differential.
