Locking the delivery unit (vehicles without stationary heating)

WARNING: Working on fuel system.
Risk of fire! Danger of explosion!

When working on the fuel system, make sure the workstation has sufficient ventilation, e.g., by means of extraction.
Tightly seal off open lines and connections; collect any leakage fuel directly at the point of exit.
No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Open up the floor trims in the area (1) in the arrow direction.

Turn the sealing cap (1) in arrow direction (counter-clockwise).

Unlock the locking tab (1) in arrow direction.
Operate the latch (2) and detach the connector housing.

Unlock and detach snap fastener (1) .

Equipment specification with optional equipment 1AK (external fuel filter).
Unlock and detach the snap fasteners (1) .

If necessary, unlock and detach the snap fastener (2) for the pre-heating.
