Installing the wheel carrier on the left and right

NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Install wheel carrier
- Feed in and position the wheel carrier (3) at the wishbones.
- Replace the nuts (1)
and (2)

Parts: Nut
- Hand-tighten the nuts (1) and (2) . If necessary, counter support at the Torx socket.
- Tighten nuts (1)
and (2)
. If necessary, counter support at the Torx socket.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Upper wishbone at front/rear to wheel carrier M14
Replace nut.Tightening torque 165 Nm - Replace the screw (2)

Parts: Screw
- Insert the screw (2)
and position the anti-roll bar link (1)
on the wheel carrier.
- Tighten down screw (1)

Rear anti-roll bar link to wheel carrier M10
Replace screw.Tightening torque 56 Nm NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The screw connection is tightened later in the NORMAL POSITION with the torque wrench. - Replace the screw (1)

- Tighten screw (1)
by hand.
- Tighten down screw (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Front lower wishbone to rear axle support M12
Replace screw.Tightening torque 100 Nm NOTE: In order to tighten the screw connection with the torque wrench after adjustment work, the direction of insertion of the eccentric screw must be reversed. - Replace the eccentric screw (1)
, the eccentric washer (2)
and the nut (3)
.
Parts: Eccentric screw, eccentric washer, nut
- The eccentric screw (1) must be inserted from the top.
- Position eccentric washer (2) .
- Hand-tighten the nut (3)
. Turn the eccentric to the mark.
The threaded connection is tightened with the torque wrench only after the wheel alignment.
- Release the special tool 2 413 317 from the output shaft (1) and remove it.
