Installing the transfer box

Install the transfer box with the front propeller shaft.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Improper screw length can cause component damage.
The use of screws of improper length can lead to component damage.
- Note the correct screw length.
- Install screws that correspond to the original length.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When assembling, it is essential to observe screwing sequences and tightening torques.
Failure to comply with the regulations can lead to leaks and damage.

Tighten the screws in order from (1) to (5) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Transfer box to automatic transmission
M10	tightening torque	43 Nm

Connect the connector (1) with the VTG control unit.

Install the ground strap (2) .
Tighten down screw (1) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Ground strap to transmission or body
M8	tightening torque	19 Nm
