Installing the left and right camber control arm

Perform the steps on the left and right side.
Installing the camber control arm
WARNING:
Car may slip off the vehicle hoist where components are supported.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
- Make sure that the vehicle does not lift off the mounting plates on the vehicle lift.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The screw connection is tightened later in the NORMAL POSITION with the torque wrench.

- Replace the eccentric screw (1)
and the screw (5)

Parts: Eccentric screw, screw
- Position the camber control arm (2) on the wheel carrier.
- Insert the eccentric screw (1)
.
- Insert tensioned coil spring (6) and position the camber control arm (2) on the rear axle support.
- Insert screw (5) .
- Replace the eccentric washer and the nuts (3)
and (4)

Parts: Eccentric washer, nuts
- Tighten the nut (3) hand-tight. Turn the eccentric screw (1) with the eccentric to the mark while doing so.
- Hand-tighten the screw (5) . In doing so, counter support at the nut (4) .
- Feed in the top spring pad (2)
at the coil spring (1)

- Position the special tool 5 A4A EC2 for CFRP brake disks.
- Hand-tighten the lug bolt (1)
.
- Position special tool 2 358 630 .
- Turn lug bolts (1) until hand-tight.
- Slightly lift the wheel carrier with the special tool 2 219 012
. Do not press against the spring force of the coil spring. NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The screw connection is tightened later in the NORMAL POSITION with the torque wrench. - Replace the nut (1)
and the screw (2)

Parts: Nut, bolt
- Insert the screw (2)
and hand-tighten the nut (1)

- Empty special tool 2 219 012 and set it aside.
- Release the lug bolts (1) .
- Remove special tool 2 358 630
.
- Release the lug bolts (1) for CFRP brake disks.
- Remove special tool 5 A4A EC2
.NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Position the attachment rod (2) on the camber control arm.
- Replace nut (1)

Parts: Nut
- Tighten nut (1) .
