Installing rear brake pads

- Check the position of the sliding plate (1)
and correct if necessary.
- Install the brake pad (1)
in arrow direction.
- Variant with design clip:
- Replace the design clip (1)

Parts: Design clip
- Attach the design clip (1) and engage it in arrow direction with a screwdriver (2) .
- Ensure that the retaining tab (3)
is engaged correctly.
- Release the special tool 2 413 317
.
Do not hang the brake caliper (1) from the brake hose.
NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side. - Thread the cable (1)
for the brake pad wear sensor in arrow direction through the brake caliper (2)
.
- Position the brake caliper (3) .
- Replace screws (1)

- Tighten the screws (1)
. Counter support at the hexagon head (2)
while doing so.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Guide bolt (brake caliper on brake anchor plate) M8 Tightening torque 35 Nm NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side. - Fasten the cable (1)
for the brake pad wear sensor to the holders (2)
.NOTE: Only perform the operation on the right side.
- Attach the cable on the holder (3) .
- Connect the connector (2) to the brake pad wear sensor and lock it.
- Close and lock the lid (1) .
