Installing catalytic converters for cylinders 1 to 6 (engine removed)

Guide out and remove gasket (1).

Replace the seals (1).

Replace V-ribbon clips (1).
Parts: V-ribbon clips

Feed in and position the catalytic converter (2) for the cylinders 1 to 3.
Tighten V-ribbon clips (1) until hand-tight.
Feed in and position the catalytic converter (3) for the cylinders 4 to 6.
Tighten V-ribbon clips (1) until hand-tight.

Make sure that the catalytic converter (2) and the V-ribbon clip (3) on the exhaust turbocharger (1) is in the correct installation position.

If installed
Feed in and position the adapter (1).

If installed
Insert and install the holder (4).
Tighten the screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter holder to automatic transmission switch
M8X20	Tightening torques	19 Nm

Replace the screw (2).
Parts: Screw
Tighten the screws (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter to holder
M8 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	19 Nm

Tighten the nut (3).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter to holder
M8	Tightening torque	24 Nm

Tighten the V-ribbon clip (1) on the catalytic converter (2) for the cylinders 1 to 3.
Note the correct installation position of the catalytic converter (2) for the cylinders 1 to 3 in the marked area.

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Catalytic converter to exhaust turbocharger
cl Replace clamp after disassembly.	Tightening torque	14 Nm
