Change transfer box oil (ATC 13-1)

Open the oil filler plug (1).

Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Vacuum the transmission oil from the transfer box (VTG) using special tool 0 493 337 (00 2 080) and special tool 2 457 963 .

Fill transmission oil with the special tool 0 493 337 (00 2 080) up to the lower edge of the opening for the oil filler plug.

Tighten the oil filler plug (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Oil filler and oil drain plugs
M22	tightening torque	60 Nm
