Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT ORNAMENTAL GRILLE .
- Refer to PARTIALLY REMOVING THE FRONT SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Remove the impact absorber (2).
- Remove pedestrian protection sensor (1) from impact absorber (2).
