Adjust Tailgate Hinge

NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Release nuts (1) until the tailgate hinge (2) can be shifted.
- Shift tailgate hinge (2) horizontally, till the Trunk lid has the specified gap dimension for the side panel.
- Tighten nuts (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Tailgate hinge to body Nut M8 tightening torque 19 Nm NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side. - Release nut (1) until the tailgate hinge (2) can be shifted.
- Shift the hinge arm vertically until the trunk lid has the specified gap dimension to the side panel.
- Tighten nut (1) .

Check
- Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between trunk lid and side panels.
Result
» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

- Adjust tailgate hinge.
