Adjusting Rear Lid Lock

Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between the trunk lid and bumper cover.

Measure

Adjust tailgate latch.

Lever out the covers (1) at the recesses (arrows) with a screwdriver and remove them.
Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be shifted.

Tighten down screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Tailgate lock to body
M8x20 screw	Tightening torque	19 Nm
