Preparing New Part

- Carry out the severance cuts on the new parts according to the severance cut on the vehicle.
- Remove unnecessary components from new part.
- Prepare the new reinforcement part for the B-pillar in the upper area for joining by plug-welding. To do so, make (1) 6 x 15 mm elongated holes with a cut-off grinder.
- Prepare the new reinforcement part for the B-pillar in the lower area for joining by plug-welding. To do so, make 6 x 15 mm elongated holes (1) with a cut-off grinder.
- Adjust the new B-pillar inner section and B-pillar reinforcement using an alignment bracket or universal fixture and secure in place.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

- Prepare the body in the areas (2) for plug-welding.
- In the lower area of the reinforcement for the B-pillar, prepare the body for plug-welding (1).
- At the areas (2), prepare 1 x 15 mm long MAG weld seams for each.
- Prepare new parts in the areas (1) for joining by welding.
- Prepare new parts in the areas (1) for joining by welding.
- Prepare new part in the area (1) for joining by welding.
- Mark out and make separating cuts on the new B-pillar outer skin in accordance with the separating cuts on the vehicle.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
