Remove lumbar support on front seat

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE REAR PANEL OF THE FRONT SEAT BACKREST .

Detach the backrest cover (1) in signaled area.

Detach the welt from the backrest cover (1).

Press the detent and slide the valve body (1) in the direction of the arrow.
Feed out the valve body (1) from the rear seat backrest.

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
Loosen the clips (2).
Remove the drive unit (3) and the valve body (4).

Detach the lugs (1) of the lumbar support (2).
Carefully remove the lumbar support (2) towards the bottom between the spring wire and the backrest padding.
Completely remove the lumbar support (2) including drive unit and valve body.
