Checking internal engine pressure

Preliminary work
- Refer to CHECKING/IF NECESSARY TOPPING UP ENGINE OIL LEVEL WITH DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE OIL FILLER CAP .
- Insert the special tool 0 496 326 (11 9 880) into oil filler neck opening (2) and screw in hand-tight.
- Connect the standard connection hose (1) to the special tool.

- Start engine and run at idle speed.
- Measure internal engine pressure with the measuring technique.
- Connect vehicle diagnosis system and observe the diagnosis instructions for pressure testing.
